When we farm, Chicago grows.
We grow heirloom tomatoes, kale, beets, herbs, salad greens, garlic and more. We sell the majority of our production to Chicago restaurants. This reduces local chefs’ carbon footprint while increasing Chicago’s food self-sufficiency. Our net proceeds go to support the other programs of Resource Center Chicago.
Are you interested in purchasing fresh organic Chicago-grown produce for your farm-to-table enterprise? Our “Farm Updates” tab will be updated weekly with our fresh list and please contact Jessica Hart at 224.717.6692 (Phone/Text) for sales inquiries or reach out to our Farm Manager, Brecken Sahs at 312.399.2617 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
City Farm is currently farming at 550 W. Division St. (by the Chicago Fire Department house).
This is our third location on Division Street, and our second summer at this location.
